Wali Waiters – Times Square Welcomes CBS Television Distribution’s The Insider & Entertainment Tonight

Bright Light Studios is the newest star on Broadway and CBS Television Distribution’s The Insider is the lucky show to christen the breathtaking broadcast & event facility. Managed by Productions New York City, Bright Light Studios boasts having the grandest view of Times Square. The studio’s huge windows start at the floor and soar more than 30′ into the air. The expansive wall of glass runs for an entire city block before wrapping around the building on three sides. “The images that we are getting on camera are absolutely stunning. We will help show the world why High Definition & big screen TVs were invented,” says Tim Hayes, president of Productions New York City LLC. “We are only steps away from where the ball drops on New Year’s Eve and the views from our stage dwarf anything else in New York.”

The Insider is the first show to originate from the new facility, which launches on September 10, 2007. The Insider is the #2 syndicated entertainment news magazine program and continues to be the highest-rated debut of any news magazine in syndication since 1996, averaging 7 million viewers each day. Formerly Los Angles based Pat O’Brien now joins Lara Spencer in the new studio.

Entering its fourth year, The Insider serves as half of the one hour long entertainment news block that also includes the #1 syndicated entertainment news magazine program Entertainment Tonight. ET will originate programming segments from the Times Square location as well.

Bright Light Studios is part of a larger complex on Broadway that houses the world famous Minskoff Theatre. In addition to hosting broadcast productions, Bright Light Studios is also unveiling a stunning new event space for corporate functions, media tours and product launches.

PRODUCTIONS NEW YORK CITY in New York, NY, Burbank, CA and Orlando FL manages four iconic studio locations in New York City including the new Bright Light Studios and provides broadcast production support for remote and location shoots around the globe for clients as diverse as CBS, ABC & Food & Wine Magazine.
